Raising Awareness and Conducting Outreach

In the coming years, QRTA plans not only to broaden its programs within Jordan but to expand across the region. QRTA has established relationships with key government and nongovernmental organizations in Jordan and throughout the Middle East on issues related to education reform, school improvement, and the quality of teaching. In the near future, QRTA will host an annual conference in Jordan to convene teachers and principals across Jordan engaged in different initiatives focused on instructional improvement. The conference will provide a venue for participants to learn, share, and reflect on state-of-the-art knowledge, skills, and pedagogical tools for teachers and school leaders. The interactive format will bring researchers, professional development providers, teachers, and principals with a wide range of expertise to share perspectives, discuss common problems, and generate promising solutions.

These outreach activities will raise awareness about the importance of improving instructional practice and supporting teachers through that process. These conferences also aim to build commitment and sustain momentum for instructional improvement across the many organizations, and they provide a forum for educators to engage in the challenging work of improving teaching and learning.
